Bumble wants you to experience the same excitement you feel on Bumble, IRL. Events where you can meet cool people in your city who are into the same things you are– in this case, serving your community.

We've partnered with Visit.Org to create some really great opportunities to give back. In honor of World Bee Day, we'll be planting vegetation that supports bees and pollinators or helping maintaining our parks so that everyone can enjoy them. We're excited to support local green spaces in the coming weeks.

All participating nonprofit organizations featured will receive a grant as part of this program.

What is Private Detector and how does it work?

If you’ve been sent a lewd photo, the Bumble app will warn you that it may contain nudity before you decide to open it. If you do not want to see this image, simply select ‘Decline’ under the photo. The image will be deleted from your chat and you will be prompted with the option to block the user. If you chose to block this person the chat will be removed from both parties' message screen and you will no longer be able to view one another's profiles.

If the Private Detector has recognized a photo as potentially lewd and you would like to view it, just select the photo, confirm that you wish to view it and continue chatting.

When do Bumble matches expire? And what happens once they do?

Both parties must respond within 24 hours after matching with someone on Bumble Date, or the match expires - unless you decide to extend the match or rematch using Bumble Boost. If you do this, your match will be highlighted and placed at the front of the queue.

What are Profile Prompts and how can I update them?

We’re really keen for our bees’ wonderful personalities to shine through their Bumble profiles. Profile Prompts allow you to showcase your interests, what you're looking for, and more! Adding these prompts can really help jumpstart conversations. Here are a few examples:

You can update your response to a Profile Prompt whenever you like! To make a change, go to Edit Profile and tap the X next to your question. Currently, you can't delete a Profile Prompt altogether, but you can always switch to a new prompt to keep things fresh!
